Elizabeth Banks Shares Hilarious GIF of Her 'Catch Me If You Can' Scene With Leonardo DiCaprio

In case you forgot, Elizabeth Banks and Leonardo DiCaprio once starred in a movie together.

The 43-year-old Pitch Perfect 3 actress took to Twitter on Friday (December 29) to remind us all about the epic performance.

She and Leonardo, also 43, co-starred in 2002′s Catch Me If You Can, in which his Frank Abagnale Jr. seduced her bank teller character Lucy (watch the scene here), eventually recruiting her as a flight attendant.

“15 years ago I was in a movie with @LeoDicaprio,” Elizabeth tweeted along with the GIF below. “Back then GIF was not a thing. #CatchMeIfYouCan.”

Now can they star in another film together, please?

SMH. This woman and Paris Hilton. It’s folks like these that end up getting the credit once history is re-written. For those that don’t know, already forgotten, o just don’t give a crap, PH invented the “selfie” in 2003, with her BFF Britney (Spears).

I think this publication is generally trashy and is full of gossip and draws people’s attention away from reading interesting articles where they might actually learn something enlightening.or feel uplifted It’s full of celebrity news nobody actually cares about such as which 20 year old model might be dating an older man. It’s a little bit creepy in actual fact, the preoccupation with generating either fake publicity for celebrities or delving into the real private lives of people and reporting it as news without their permission. I think that Elizabeth Bank’s share on twitter recently about the feminist choir is a bit lame. I think it’s poking fun at women and their fight for equality and sure intersectional feminism can be boring and come across as sanctimonious if it’s delivered the wrong way but generally women who care about women or men or gender fluidity are smart enough to speak about it fairly and with a sense of fun and irony too. That piece of comedy really did miss the mark and I’m surprised Elizabeth Banks didn’t pick up on the chauvinistic nuances of the joke on women. Maybe though she just gets told what to tweet which is very lame and not very feminist of her at all. It’s also terribly terribly racist as it depicts a black man not understanding the feminist rhetoric which is incredibly revolting and she should have known better. Black men are smart men and many do care about womens rights. Shame on her i say.

I think you have taken this silly thread too seriously. And why post such a long and deep comment without hardly anybody to talk to in the comment section?

You read it. You’re someone and probably someone very important in your own way. Thank you for reading it. How lovely of you. I’m not taking the thread too seriously. I’m referring to her share on Twitter. If it reaches just one person you never know where it might go. You never really know who is reading and if they do have influence too. The anonymity of the internet means I could be anyone, that being someone of influence or not or someone who knows someone of influence or is followed by someone of influence. You can dress someone up as a tree on a stage and put them in the background but that doesn’t mean they are a tree. They might not have realised the tree in the background is, say a Time Traveller (lol) or Casper the ghost- boo! . BTW I like her as an actor, I was just disappointed in one of her shares. Coincidently, since I commented she put a whole bunch of stuff on twitter about womens rights so I was happy with that. I don’t mind if it didn’t get read. It helps me sort out my own beliefs and reactions at the very least. In the words of Bon Jovi, Have a nice day!

As you say “You’re someone and probably someone very important in your own way” exactly, maybe in my imagination. I’m sorry to tell you I’m clearly not very influential although thank you for taking me in consideration and making my day :)
    Great song btw!
